Obituary
Funeral services for the late Joan Fusako Onodera, 88 year-old Sacramento, CA born resident of Montebello who passed away on September 24 at Monterey Park Hospital, will be held on Sunday, October 1, from 1:30 p.m. at Higashi Honganji Buddhist Temple 505 E. Third St., Los Angeles, CA 90013 with Rinban Noriaki Ito officiating under the direction of Fukui Mortuary.
She is survived her husband, Ken Onodera; daughters, Patricia (Chuck) Nicholson, Shirley; sons, Keith (Jill), George (Liz) Onodera; brother, George (Yuri) Fukuda; sisters, Clara (Hank) Sanematsu, June Yamada; brothers-in-law, Tad Ochiai, Mac Kozawa; also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Family is requesting casual attire.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Higashi Honganji Buddhist Temple.
