A memorial service to celebrate the life of Joan Keiko Ishimaru, 70-year-old, CA born resident of Oak Park, who passed away on November 5, 2011, will be held on Saturday, November 19, 11:00 A.M. at Centenary United Methodist Church, 300 S. Central Ave., Los Angeles. She was a beloved daughter, sister, wife, mother and grandmother. She will be missed by all her family and friends.

Joan is survived by her husband, Lloyd Ishimaru; son, Kenny (Yvonne) Ishimaru; daughters, Angie (Steve) Papayoanou and Janice (Masao) Sasaki; grandchildren, Adam, Kyle, Nicole, Luke, Alyson, and Karissa; father, Toshiharu Okita; sister, Martha (Walter) Nakano; brother, Richard (Janice) Okita; she is also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives.

The family kindly requests casual attire and no flowers.
