TAKANAKA,Jiro (86) peacefully passed away on August 22nd, 2008. Beloved husband of Aiko Takenaka; father of Elaine (Carl) Sasaki; grandfather of Kyle and colin Sasaki; brother of Masaya (Elsie), Tetsuo(Ruby),Eiji (chiyoko), Byran Shoso, and Kenneth (Elaine) Takenaka, all of Hawaii, and Kumiko Hiranaka of Japan; also survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives. Family services were held on Thursday, September 4th at Fukui Mortuary "Chapel in The Garden" with Rev. John Katagi officiating.
