Obituary
MRS. JESSIE TABATA WATANABE, 96, Santa Barbara, CA born Nisei, resident of Los Angeles, passed away peacefully on November 6, at Keiro Nursing Home.
She is survived by her loving family: daughter, Käthe Watanabe (Jeff Zagun); son, Keith (Susan) Watanabe and daughter, Karen Morimoto; grandchildren, Kendall and Kevin (Lois) Morimoto, Traci (Damon) Gohata, Kristen (Jonathan) Poon, Cindy (Bryan) Hubina and Brett Watanabe; great-grandchildren, Dylan and Karis Gohata; sister, Nobue (Jiro) Matsuyama and sister-in-law, Miyoko Tabata; also survived by many nieces, nephews and relatives.
Private family funeral services were held on Saturday, November 15, at Green Hills Memorial Park Chapel, with Rev. John Iwohara of Gardena Buddhist Church officiating.
