MRS. JEAN MIEKO UMEKUBO, 83, Los Angeles, CA born Nisei and resident of Los Angeles, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on April 11, 2017.

She is survived by her loving family; husband, Tsutomu "Tootie" Umekubo; daughters, Cari (Charles) Casillas of Oakland and Cathi (Brien) Nagafuchi; granddaughters, Karen and Michelle Nagafuchi; great-grandchild, Mikala Manchan; sister, Celia Masuo; also survived by many nieces, nephews and relatives.

Celebration of Life service will be held on Wednesday, April 26, at 11:30AM at Green Hills Memorial Park "Chapel", 27501 S. Western Ave., Rancho Palos Verdes, with Rev. Anna Olson of St. Mary's Episcopal Church officiating. The family requests casual Hawaiian attire.
