Funeral services for the late Jane Noruko Murakami, 70-year-old Riverside, Calif.-born Nisei and resident of Gardena who passed away on January 9 at her residence, will be held on Monday, January 15, 10:30 a.m., at Torrance First Baptist Church, 2118 W. Carson St., Torrance, CA 90501, with Rev. Ron Matsuda of Gardena Valley Baptist Church officiating and Fukui Mortuary directing.

She is survived by her husband, Mark Isao Murakami; daughters, Melanie Murakami (Timothy Eng) and Lynne Murakami (Brian Gin); sisters, Margaret (Joey) Kumagai and Mina (Yoshio) Goto; brother, Henry (Edith) Horikawa; and nephews, nieces and other relatives.
