MR. JAMES YUKIO YOSHINA, 84, passed away peacefully on January 6, with his family beside him.
Jimmy Yoshina is survived by his loving family: wife, Margaret; daughters, Colleen (Frank) Mattoon, Jeanne (Dan) Houlihan, Sandi (Bill) Svoboda and Cynthia (Scott) Lohmann; grandchildren, Kenton (Jaimie) Mattoon, Martin (Madison) Mattoon, Jacquelyn Svoboda, Nicolas Perez, Jessica Svoboda, Kimberly Svoboda, Makenna Lohmann; siblings: Kikue Nakahata, Otoe Ebisu.
Celebration of his life will be held on Friday, January 23, from 10:00AM at St. Mary's Episcopal Church, 961 S. Mariposa Ave, Los Angeles. Parking is off Normandie Ave. A lunch reception will follow. The family requests aloha attire.
In lieu of flowers, please send donations in his honor to St. Mary's Episcopal Church or your favorite charity.
