James "Jimmy" Tanimura passed away on November 24, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of devotion to family and a life well enjoyed.

James, known affectionately as Jimmy, was a man who embraced life with enthusiasm and energy. He had a deep appreciation for muscle cars and found great enjoyment in playing golf, tennis, water skiing, and spending time at the slot machines in his retirement years. Above all, he valued enjoying life and making the most of each moment.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Susan Tanimura; his daughter, Lorene (ED) Kho; his son, Ron (Sariya) Tanimura; and his sister, Jayne Scott. He was a proud grandfather to five grandchildren: Mikey Kho (19), Mitchell Kho (16), Tristen Tanimura (18), Tyler Tanimura (15), and Teagan Tanimura (9), all of whom brought him great joy.

James will be remembered for his passion for life, his enduring love for his family, and the many memories he created with those closest to him. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew him.
