He is survived by his loving family; daughters, Dr. Gayle (Dr. Winfred Wang) Shiba, Linda Nishitsuji and Sharon (Dr. Richard) Sanders; grandchildren Sarah (Dr. Charles Brent) Thompson, Bryan Shiba and Stephen Sanders; great-grandchild, Hunter Thompson, also survived by many relatives.

Public visitation will be held on Monday, May 21, from 4:00pm to 6:00pm at Fukui Mortuary "Chapel in the Garden" 707 E. Temple St., Los Angeles, CA.

Celebration of life service will be held on Tuesday, May 22 at 11:00AM at Centenary United Methodist Church, 300 S. Central Ave., Los Angeles, CA.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to Hospice of the East Bay, Centenary United Methodist Church or a charity of your choice in memory of James Masaharu Nishitsuji.
