Family service for JAMES SHUNJI KATO, 92, a Santa Monica born Nisei and resident of Santa Ana who passed away at home on November 25, was held on Saturday, December 8 at Fukui Mortuary Chapel, with Rev. KarenFay Ramos-Young of Centenary United Methodist Church officiating.

He is survived by his wife, Ruby Miyo; son, Ronald James; daughters, Terri Emi and Cathy Chiyeko (Curtis) Siu; granddaughters, Mandy and Julianne Siu; sister, Yoneko Mitsuhashi; brother-in-law, Tatsuo Yago; sister-in-law, Jeanne Kato and other relatives.
