A private memorial service for the late Mr. James Y. Isobe, 76 year-old, Haleiwa, Hawaii born Sansei resident of Gardena who passed away on October 24 at Little Company of Mary Hospital was held Thursday, October 30 at South Bay Community Church with Pastor Gary Shiohama officiating.

He is survived by his wife, Ellen Isobe; daughter, Debbie (Dave) Sugimoto; son, Glen (Fumiko) Isobe; grandson, John (Lynne) Sugimoto; great-granddaughter, Kristi Sugimoto; brother, Wallace (Fumi) Isobe of Hawaii; also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives here and in Hawaii.
