MR. JAMES SUSUMU ISHIZAWA, 87, Los Angeles, CA born Nisei resident of Los Angeles, Veteran of WWII 100th Battalion, 442ND RCT, who passed away on March 22, in Harbor City.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 30, at 10:30AM at Centenary United Methodist Church, 300 S. Central Ave., Los Angeles, with Rev. John Varga of Hollywood Independent Church officiating, under the direction of Fukui Mortuary.
In lieu of flowers or koden the family requests that donations be made to Hollywood Independent Church, 4527 Lexington Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90029.
He is survived by his son, Michael Ishizawa of Brooklyn, NY; brothers, Minoru of Richmond, CA and Tok (Rosa) Ishizawa; brothers-in-law Tom and David (Shirley) Taira; sisters-in-law, Sue and Catherine Ishizawa, Helen Taira; and many nephews and nieces.
