NISHIMURA, Jackie, A 53 year old resident of San Juan Capistrano and fourth generation Southern Californian, passed away on January 17, 2011. Jackie was a graduate of California State Polytechnic University, Pomona, where she graduated cum laude with a degree in Landscape Architecture. She was a successful and highly regarded landscape architect employed for the past 20 years by the Laguna Beach firm of Robert E. Truskowski, Inc. Jackie was preceded in death by her father, William T. Nishimura and her brother, Steve T. Nishimura. She is survived by her mother, Toshiye Shibata; uncle, Tohoru Isobe; cousins, Kei Okubo, Carol Isobe and David Isobe; her beagle, Henry and many other loving family members and dear friends. A private gravesinde service was held on January 26 at Rose Hills Memorial Park.
