Jack Masaru Wada, age 89 passed away peacefully surrounded by family on March 23, 2015 at Little Company of Mary. He is survived by his beloved wife, Peggie Akiko Wada; children Elaine Yokoyama (Mickey) and Jack Wada Jr., grandchildren Jenny Laurens ( Chris), Wendy Turner (Ollie), Brian Wada, Jessica Nunez (David) , Brent Wada (Aja), six great-grandchildren, sister Jean Tabata, Sister in Law Toshiko Kobayashi of New Jersey and nephews and nieces.
Jack was a man, known for his big heart and caring nature. He was the head of the family, always leading by example. Jack was respected for his strength, courage, and generosity. He always looked forward to watching his great grandchildren at their sporting events, often going to multiple games in a day. Jack was a special man that touched so many lives and will be remembered forever.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 4, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Koyasan Buddhist Temple, 342 E. First Street, Los Angeles. Interment will follow immediately after the funeral at Green Hills Memorial Park, 27501 South Western Avenue, Rancho Palos Verdes.
