Jack Hikoji Takeuchi, passed away peacefully on February 17, 2014 surrounded by his loving family. Per his request, a private service was held March 7, at Nishi Hongwanji Buddhist Temple Los Angeles with Rimban William Briones and Rev. George Matsubayashi officiating.

He is survived by his loving wife, Ritsuko Takeuchi, his daughters, Hiroko (Frank) Iwata and Janice (Daryl) Suzuki; sons, Kaz (Diep) Takeuchi and Ted (Olga) Takeuchi; grandchildren, Sabrina, Tyler, James and Mathew.
