Private family memorial service for Jack Mitsuyoshi Yamashiro, 87-year-old Los Angeles born, resident of Arleta who passed away on Sept. 9, 2013 at Woodland Care Center, was held on Sat. Sept. 14 at Live Oak Memorial Park, gravesite with Rev. Ruy Mizuki from Chatsworth United Methodist Church officiating.
He is survived by his wife, Rose Natsuko Yamashiro; daughters, Kimiko Ellen (Carl) Larson and Mariko Jean (Bill) Broad; son, Mark Musashi (Sabrina) Yamashiro; grandchildren, Alexander Yamashiro Broad, Nicholas Michio Broad, Lillie Rose Larson and Linnea Larson; sister, Tamiko (Chuck) Fujikawa; sister-in-law, Frances Tsuneishi; brothers-in-law, Noel and Paul (Aiko) Tsuneishi; many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
