Funeral services for the late Isamu Watanabe, 72-year-old Los Angeles-born Sansei and resident of Northridge who passed away on July 24 at Northridge Hospital Medical Center, will be held on Saturday, August 4, 10:30 a.m. at San Fernando Valley Holiness Church, 9610 Haddon Ave., Pacoima, California under the direction of Fukui Mortuary.

He is survived by his his wife, Masako Watanabe; son, Robert (Akiko) Watanabe; daughter, Terri (Kent) Sayama; grandchildren, Aili Watanabe and Corey and Nicole Sayama; brothers, Takashi (Toshiko) and Yutaka (Noriko) Watanabe, the latter of Japan; sisters, Motoko Ueda, Meiko (Hideo) Mitsumune and Fumiyo (Yasuo) Imada, all of Japan; nephew, Richard Watanabe; and many other relatives.
