Obituary
A family service for the late Mr. Isamu "Ise" Ito, an 84-year-old California-born Nisei resident of Los Angeles who passed away on December 27, 2011, will be held privately, officiated by Bishop Join Inoue of Nichiren Buddhist Temple.
Mr. Ito was a former internee of Heart Mountain Relocation Camp and veteran of the U.S. Army who served as a Corporal in the M.I.S. division during WWII and with the U.S. Occupation of Japan.
He is survived by his siblings, Yoshiharu "Harley" Ito, Shizuyo "Susie" (Sam) Nakatani, and Yoshiaki "Yosh" Ito. Also survived by his brother-in-law Jack Okamoto, many nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
