Private family services for the late Isami "Sam" Taniguchi, 98-year-old, born in Hawthorne, CA, resident of Los Angeles, who passed away on May 31, 2024, were held on Friday, December 27 at Fukui Mortuary "Chapel in the Garden" in Los Angeles.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Chiyoko Taniguchi; children, Rick (Susan) Taniguchi and Randy Taniguchi; grandchildren, Stacie Taniguchi and Daren Taniguchi and great grandson Tusi Tani-Makerusa; he is also survived by his sister-in-law and many nieces and nephews.
