Mr. Ikuo Yamamoto, an 88-year-old, Los Angeles, California-born, Nisei resident of Manhattan Beach passed away on February 25, 2012. He was a veteran of WWII who served in the Military Intelligence Unit. Private memorial sevices were held at Green Hills Memorial Chapel, officiated by Rev. Dr. Hidemi Ito of Faith United Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests that donations be made to the charity of your choice.



Mr. Yamamoto is survived by his beloved wife, Tomiko Yamamoto; children, Risa Yamamoto of Virginia, Nina (John Phillips), Thomas and Laura Yamamoto; grandchildren, Elliot Phillips and Nora and Edward Burrows, both of Virginia; brother Henry (Jane) Yamamoto. Also survived by nieces, nephews and many other family members.
