Funeral services for the late Mr. Howard Takashi Ibaraki, a 75-year-old, California-born Nisei resident of Monterey Park and former internee of Heart Mountain during WWII who passed away on May 4, 2014 were held privately at Fukui Mortuary "Chapel in the Garden"officiated by Rev. Shumyo Kojima of Zenshuji Buddhist Temple.

Beloved husband of Catherine Ibaraki; devoted father of Alexander Ibaraki and Shelley (James) Fujinami; proud grandfather of Jack Takashi Fujinami; loving brother of Albert (Alice) Ibaraki, Helen (James) Azama and Alice Yoshiko (Eddie) Seo of Colorado. Also survived by many other relatives.
