Hoshio Yokoi
Private funeral services for the late Hoshio Yokoi, 88 year old, Stockton, CA born Nisei resident of Los Angeles and 442nd R.C.T. Veteran who passed away peacefully on June 29 were held on Saturday, July 5 at Fukui Mortuary "Chapel in the Garden" officiated by Rinban Noriaki Ito of Higashi Honganji Buddhist Temple.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Misae Yokoi; sons, Kenneth Ichiro and Robert Saburo (Ai) Yokoi of Atlanta, GA; daughter, Margaret Yumi Yokoi of Atlanta, GA; grandchildren, Stephen Kenji and Robyn Naomi Yokoi, both of Atlanta, Georgia, and Stephanie Jaye Yokoi; brother Kei (Cecelia) Yokoi; sisters, Mineko (Keizo) Yamaguchi of Japan, Midori (Sadao) Baishiki, and Yaeko (George) Shimizu, both of Sacramento, CA; brother-in-law, Jimmy Takeda. Also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews and other relatives.
