Private services for the late Hoover Masumi Hiroto, 85 year-old, Los Angeles born Nisei, who passed away on August 23, 2013, were held on Friday, September 6th at Fukui Mortuary "Chapel in the Garden" with Pastor Cory Ishida of Evergreen Baptist Church San Gabriel Valley officiating.

He is survived by his children; sons, John (Julie), Roy (Marlyn) and Paul (Monica) Hiroto; daughter, Kim Powers; grandchildren, Katie (Jeremy) Casey, Corie and Caitlin Hiroto, Kyle and Lindsay Hiroto, Baileigh, Ali, Cole Trotters, Meghan Powers; brother, Thomas Hiroto; sister-in-law, Mary Hiroto; also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
