Private memorial services for the late Mrs. Hisako Jean Sasaki, 90 year old El Monte, California-born Kibei-Nisei resident of Gardena who peacefully passed away on July 28 were held on Tuesday, August 5, at Gardena Seventh Day Adventist Church, officiated by Rev. Fumio Iwasaki, under the direction of Fukui Mortuary.

She is survived by her daughters, Susan Hsiao, and Pauline Fujii; grandsons, Brian and Raymond (Eileen ) Hsiao, and Tim Quinata of Hawaii; granddaughter, Terri (Alan) McCandles; great-grandchildren, Ryan, Elise, Katie and Alyssa; brother, Takeshi (Emiko) Morita; sister, Chizuko Otagiri of Japan. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
