Obituary
Hisako Hashiguchi was born in Cupertino, California on March 12, 1921. She passed away peacefully at the Keiro Nursing Home in Los Angeles on June 23, 2012 after being a resident there for the past four years. She was 91.
She was raised and educated in Japan, but returned to California in 1951.
She is survived by her husband Sadao Hashiguchi and sister Tomiko Baba of Los Angeles; sister Shizuko Fujimura of Tokyo; son Koji (Mieko) Yamashita and grandchildren Kenji and Mayumi of Hiroshima; and many nieces nephews, grand nieces, grand nephews, and other relatives both in the United States and Japan.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 6, 11:00 a.m. at the Fukui Mortuary "Chapel In The Garden", 707 East Temple Street, Los Angeles, CA. with Reverend Nobuko Miyoshi of the Higashi Honganji Buddhist Temple officiating.
