Private funeral services for Hiroyuki Yamanaka 78-year-old Lancaster-born resident of Gardena who passed away on Nov. 20, 2010, were held on Thursday, Dec. 2 at Green Hills Memorial Park, graveside with Rev. Hosho Shindo from Gardena Buddhist Church officiating.
He is survived by his son, Michael (Jeanne) Yamanaka; daughter, Aline Yamanaka; grandchildren, Byron and Erin; sisters, Susie Shizuko (Mac) Kakudo and Yukiko (Charles) Irwin; nieces, nephews and other relatives.
