Private funeral services for the late Hiroyuki "Hashi" Hashimoto, 81 year-old Los Angeles born resident of Canoga Park who passed away on September 11 at West Valley Health Care Center were held on Friday, September 15 at Higashi Honganji Buddhist Temple with Rinban Noriaki Ito officiating under the direction of Fukui Mortuary.

He is survived by his wife, Edna Tamiko Hashimoto; daughters, Sherie Ann (John Minker) and Doreen Hashimoto; son, Wayne (Nancy) Hashimoto; grandchild, Chris Rotchford; also many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
