Memorial services for the late Mr. Hiroshi Miyahira, a Kauai, Hawaiian-born Nisei Veteran of the United States Army and long-time resident of Gardena, CA who passed away on November 14, 2011 will be held on Saturday, November 26, 2011, 10:30 AM at Faith United Methodist Church, 2115 W. 182nd St., Torrance, CA 90504, officiated by Rev. Daryl Mashita of Orange County Christian Church. The family respectfully requests that flowers be omitted.



Mr. Miyahira is survived by his wife, Hazel Miyahira; children, Dennis, Jeffrey (Naomi), Russ, Mona, and Calvin (Cyndi) Miyahira; six grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; siblings, Teru (Lita) and Masami(Sumiko) Miyahira. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
