Memorial service for HIROSHI ABE, 95, an El Monte born Nisei and resident of Carlsbad who passed away on January 6 at the Palomar Medical Center, will be held on Saturday, January 28, 11AM at the Centenary United Methodist Church, 300 S. Central Ave., under the direction of Fukui Mortuary.

He is survived by his wife, Miyo; daughters, Dianne (Kenny) Furukawa, Nancy Abe, Janet (Peter) Wong and Gale (Scott) Muragishi; 10 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; sisters, Irene Hatate, Shirley Iriye and Yoshiko Shiomi and many nieces and nephews.
