Hiroko Higa, 82 years old, Okinawa, Japan-born, resident of Gardena, passed away peacefully on August 8, 2024.

She is survived by loving husband, Chogi; sons, Tomohiro and Ben Higa; daughter-in-law, Marjorie Higa; and grandchildren, Devin and Peyton Higa.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 31, 2024, from 10:30 a.m. at Koyasan Buddhist Temple at 342 E. 1st St., Los Angeles, CA 90012. Ash burial will follow on the same day at Rose Hills Memorial Park from 3 p.m. at Gate #1 – 3888 Workman Mill Rd., Whittier, CA 90601.
