Funeral services for the late Mr. Hirao Tanaka, an 89-year-old Venice, California-born Kibei-Nisei resident of Camarillo who passed away on July 12, 2012 will be held on Thursday, July 19, 7:30 PM at Oxnard Buddhist Temple, 250 South "H" St., Oxnard, CA 93030, officiated by Rev. Henry Toryo Adams.

Beloved husband of Chieko Tanaka; father of Glenn Takeshi (Eileen Akemi) Tanaka, Christine Hitomi (Glenn Yoshio) Nakagiri and Betty Yoko (Mitchell) Ito; grand father of 10; brother of Yoneo (Mitsuko) and Katsuko (Minoru) Tanaka and Isoko Kunisaki; brother-in-law of Haruo Masamoto and Motoo Furukawa. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
