He is survived by his loving family; wife, Joan Ohta; son, Arthur (Brande) Ohta; daughter, Leah Ohta and son, Brian (Andrea) Ohta of Philadelphia; grandchildren, Simon, Maddy, Kaiya and Peter; nephew, Mark Kamimura; brother, Thaddeus (Beatrice) Ohta; sisters, Hannah Hayashi, Kathryn (Melvin) Seki and Yasuko Kamimura; also survived by many relatives.
Funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 6, at 11:00AM at Higashi Honganji Buddhist Temple, 505 E. 3 rd St., Los Angeles.
