HIKARU OKUBO , 83year-old, Hawaii born and resident of Montebello passed away on January 31, 2014, public funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 8, 12:30p.m. at Higashi Honganji Buddhist Temple, 505 East 3rd Street, Los Angeles, California.

He is survived by his wife, Betty E.Okubo; daughter, Dorothy T. (James T.) Nakagawa; sons, Ronald M. (Cindy) and Albert N. Okubo; grandchildren, Tammi T. (Jason Le) Nakagawa and Reece E. and Royce T. Okubo; sisters, Aiko Nakamura and Reiko Ito; also survived by many nephews, nieces and other relatives here and in Hawaii and Japan.
