HIKARU MOROHOSHI, often known as the 103 year-old red scooter-rider of Torrance and Gardena passed away peacefully on the evening of Friday, December 7, 2018.

He is survived by his loving family; wife, Yoshiko Morohoshi, daughter, Marie Kyoko Morohoshi of San Francisco, and son, Makoto Tad Morohoshi.

He was preceded in death by his son Bob "Bobby" Osamu Morohoshi; and he is survived by his loving family; wife, Yoshiko Morohoshi; children, Marie Kyoko Morohoshi, Makoto Tad Morohoshi; sisters-in-law Chisato Morohoshi of San Francisco, CA, Akiko and husband Sadao Iwashita of Glendale, CA, Teruko Aoki, Tomiko Kubota, Emiko Sugiuyama and husband Hisakazu, Eiko Asakura, all of Japan. Also survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Public funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 18, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Green Hills Memorial Chapel, 27501 S Western Avenue, Rancho Palos Verdes, CA 90275
