Hideko Yamamoto, 103-year-old, Los Angeles, California-born, resident of Montebello, original Terminal Islander, loving wife, mother and aunt, devout Christian passed away on April 12, 2024.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, May 11, 11 a.m. at Centenary United Methodist Church 300 S. Central Ave. in Los Angeles.

Predeceased by her husband of 75 years, Kenji Yamamoto and her siblings, Akitoshi Nakamura, Aiko Nakamura, and Hanako Fujimori; she is survived by her son, Tim Yuji (Tomoko) Yamamoto; she is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and other relatives.
