TOKESHI, Sakamoto Hideko, age 73, of Claremont, California passed away on July 13th. Born on February 23, 1935 in Los Angeles, CA, she is survived by her husband of 49 years, Joseph Tokeshi; children Douglas Joseph (Lori) Tokeshi, Gregory Dean (Lucy) Tokeshi, and Patricia Anne Tokeshi (Clyde) Colinco; and grandchildren Matthew Joseph Tokeshi Colinco, Claire May Tokeshi Colinco, and Ryan Douglas Tokeshi. She was the beloved sister of Shizuko Sakamoto Koga, Nobuko Sakamoto (Mitsuro) Amano, Teruko Sakamoto (Isamu) Nakamura, Yetsuko Sakamoto (Thomas) Fujiwara, Toyoko Sakamoto (Thomas) Vassil, and Yaeko Sakamoto King. She was also a dear sister-in-law to Edward (Yone) Tokeshi, George Mouri, May (Tokeshi) Inouye, Thomas (Suchilla) Tokeshi, and Tatsuo Asamen. Hideko was predeceased by loving parents, Shunzo and Komeno (Kondo) Sakamoto, sister, Kiyoko Sakamoto Asamen, brother-in-law, Joe Koga, brother-in-law, William Tokeshi, and sister-in-law, Ruth (Tokeshi) Mouri. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 26, 2008, 10:00 A.M. at Sage Granada Park United Methodist Church, 1850 W. Hellman Ave. Alhambra, CA with Rev. Phyllis Tyler, senior pastor, and Rev.
