Hideaki Miyamoto, age 92, passed away peacefully on March 15, 2016. He was born in Kochi, Japan but has been a long-time resident of Torrance. He is survived by his devoted wife, Haruko; and children Joseph (Yuriko), Craig (Stacey), Karen (Glenn) Mayeda; grandchildren Melissa, Eric (Simi), Mark, Moof (Ali) Mayeda, and Dr. Nicole Mayeda. He is also survived by 2 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild and many other relatives. He also has a brother, Soho Yamanaka, in Japan.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 26, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Green Hills Memorial Chapel in Rancho Palos Verdes, 27501 S. Western Ave., Rancho Palos Verdes, CA. Pastor Eiji Osato from the Gardena Valley Baptist Church will officiate.
