Herbert Akio Yoshimi, 81, of Monterey Park, CA. died at St. Vincent Medical Center on Sunday, February 22, 2009. He was born in Honolulu, HI. Herbert was a graduate of Kaimuki High School, 1946 and the University of Nebraska, 1952. He was a registered pharmacist in California for 46 years.
Herbert is survived by his wife, Chie Yoshimi; three daughters, Jill Rumiko Yoshimi, Michelle Tomoko (Kris) Motschenbacher and Sharleen Miwako (James) McLaughlin; grandson, Straus Sekai Motschenbacher; other relatives; also survived by two dogs, Sweet Pea and Coal.
