Herbert Masao Kimoto's Obituary
Private graveside services for the late Herbert Masao Kimoto, 87-year-old, Honolulu, HI born resident of Culver City, who passed away on January 12, 2009, were held on Saturday, January 17 at Inglewood Park Cemetery, under the direction of Fukui Mortuary.
Herbert was a member of the 232nd Engineer in the 442nd Regiment and received the Bronze Star and Purple Heart for his honorable services to his country.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Marye M. Kimoto; son, Jon Kimoto; daughters, Elinor (Yuzo) Yoshida and Tianne Kimoto; grandsons, Ross (Stacy) and Ryan Yoshida; great-granddaughters, Hailey and Catelyn Yoshida; he is also survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives.
