Funeral services for the late Mr. Henry Hiroshi Uyekawa, an 87-year-old, California-born Nisei, former internee of Jerome and Tule Lake relocation camps and a longtime resident of Huntington Beach who passed away on October 5, 2011 will be held on Friday, October 14, 2011, 10:00 AM at Zenshuji Soto Mission, 123 S. Hewitt St., Los Angeles, CA 90012, officiated by Rev. Shumyo Kojima.

Mr. Uyekawa is survived by his beloved wife, Kimi Uyekawa; children, Susan Rutledge, Wesley Uyekawa, Mark (Colleen)Uyekawa, and Keith (Lynn) Uyekawa of WA; step-son, David Blair; 12 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild; siblings, Noboru (Alice) Uyekawa and Yasuko Yagami. Also survived by many other relatives.
