Memorial services for the late Mr. Henry Kenyu Takamine, an 82 year-old, Hakalau, Hawaii-born Nisei U.S. Army Veteran and long-time resident of Gardena, California who passed away on November 8 will be held on Monday, November 22, 11:00 AM at Green Hills Memorial Park Chapel, 27501 S. Western Ave., Rancho Palos Verdes, California, officiated by Pastor Gary Fukumoto of South Bay Community Church. Casual attire.

Mr. Takamine is survived by his children, Gayle Kurosu and Gary Takamine; grandchildren, Kamyn (Jeff) Kong, Curtis Takamine and Corey Takamine; great-grandchild, Rylie Kong; siblings, Yoshito (Kimiko) Takamine, Yoshinobu (Shigeko) Takamine and Sueko (Masa) Kakazu, all of Hawaii, Yaeko (Yasu) Tamayose, Takeshi (Sumiko) Takamine of Texas, Yemiko Lum and Kazu (Linda) Takamine both of Hawaii. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
