Funeral services for the late Mr. Henry Masayoshi Shimohara, 91 year-old Glendale, CA born Kibei Nisei resident of Torrance who passed away on September 2nd at Little Company of Mary Medical Center will be held on Tuesday, September 8th, 7:30 p.m. at Gardena Buddhist Church, 1517 West 166th Street, Gardena, CA.

He is predeceased by his wife, Chiyoko and son, Jerry.

He is survived by his loving children, Stan (Sharon) Shimohara, Diana (Dennis) Mitani and Lorraine (Pat) Coyne of Russia, Arthur (Harriet) and Ronald (Terri) Shimohara; grandchildren, Matthew (Jenny) Shimohara of Germany, Scott, Donny, Lynn Shimohara, Michael and Marcy Mitani, Melinda and Julianne Coyne both of Texas, Sean, Mark, Sam and Kate Shimohara; great-granddaughter, Ashley Mitani; sister, Hidemi Kamikawa; daughter-in-law, Ellen Shimohara; sister-in-law, Rushie Shimohara; also many nieces, nephews and other relatives here and in Japan.
