Family services for the late Henry Minoru Hayashi, 84-year-old Fort Lupton, Colorado-born Nisei resident of Monterey Park who passed away on May 15 at St. Vincent Medical Center, were held on May 19 at Fukui Mortuary Chapel with Bishop Seicho Asahi of Koyasan Buddhist Temple officiating.

He is survived by his wife, Akiko Hayashi; son, Naoto (Masako) Hayashi of Japan; grandchildren, Michiko and Shinji Hayashi of Japan; sister, Mineko (Takao) Kuwaki; nieces, Yoko (Gerald) Chuman and Eiko (Michael) Muha; and other relatives.
