Helen Taeko Nomura, 81, of Torrance, CA, passed away peacefully on the afternoon of December 27, 2015, after a six-year illness. She was surrounded by her family during the last moments of her life. Helen is survived by her children, Wendy J. (Erik) Soderburg, Patricia G. (Paul) Nomura-Feinberg and Eric D. Nomura; grandchildren, Miles and Hunter Feinberg, and Dana and Andrew Nomura; sister, Carol Nakaoka; and many nieces, nephews and other relatives. A private viewing was held on Saturday, January 2, 2016, at Fukui Mortuary's Chapel in the Garden.
