MRS. HELEN KITAMURA, 87, Los Angeles, CA born Nisei and resident of Torrance, California, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on April 12, 2017.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 46 years, Eddie Kazuo Kitamura.

She is survived by her loving family; son, Bob (Janice) Kitamura; daughters, Betty (Scott) Fujikawa, Diane (Keith) Komoto and Shirley (Tony) Fujisaki; grandchildren, Chris, Joshua (Becca), Lori (Jackson), Jennifer and Tori; brother, Fred (Sadie) Hifumi; sisters, Alice (Hige) Yamashita and Ruby Nishio; and many nieces, nephews and relatives.

Private family Celebration of Life service was held at Forest Lawn Memorial Park Hollywood Hills with Rev. Gary Oba of West Los Angeles United Methodist Church officiating.
