Helen Tomeko Kakita, 93 year old Los Angeles California born Nisei passed away on March 19, 2012.
Pre-deceased by her husband George Goro Kakita, mother of Roger Tatsuo (Annette) and Georginne Junko (Steve) Jefferies; grandmother of Audra Akemi(Lucas) Evans, Christopher Kiyoshi Jefferies, Mark Takeo Jefferies, Shelby Sanaye Kakita, Kelli Mariko Kakita; great grandmother of Joshua Kakita Evans; also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
The memorial services will be held on Thursday, March 29, 2012, 11:00AM at Hompa Hongwanji Buddhist Temple, 815 E. 1st St., Los Angeles, CA 90012.
