YAMASHIRO, HATSUMI, age 96 passed away on July 1, 2010. Beloved mother of Joyce Akemi (Kiyoto) Miyazaki. Grandmother of Neil Kiyoji (Maria) Miyazaki, Debbilyn Kiyomi (Curtis ) Doyle and Brian Kiyomichi (Heather) Miyazaki. Great-grandmother of Alan and Wendy Miyazaki, Allyson and Zachary Doyle, and Alex Miyazaki; sister of Hazel Katsumi Watanabe of Hawaii; also survived by many nephews, nieces and other relatives in Hawaii, Japan and the mainland.

Private funeral services were held on July 15, 2010 at Zenshuji Soto Mission, officiated by Rev. Shumyo Kojima.
