Hatsuko Moriguchi ( Tochihara ) passed away peacefully at the age of 90 in Alhambra, CA. She is survived by her loving family, Danny ( Marion ) Moriguchi, Gary ( Kris ) Moriguchi, Gladys ( Jerry ) Mitani, Joyce ( Kary ) Yoshimizu, Jeannie Butler and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nephews and nieces. She is also survived by brother Tom Tochihara, sister Katherine Doi, sister-in-law Grace Tochihara and brother-in-law Wes Koyano.
Hatsuko was born in Hazelton, and raised in Brighton, Colorado. After marrying Fred Masao Moriguchi in 1947, they began farming and greenhouse operations in Venice, CA. In 1961 they operated Nisei Florist in Little Tokyo until their retirement in 1984. She later moved to Alhambra, CA after her husband's passing in 1986.
She will be missed by many who were blessed by her generosity, hospitality and loving spirit.
Private services were held March 22, 2013 and internment services on March 25th 2013.
