Harushi Nakawatase, 87-year old, Kagoshima, Japan born, resident of San Dimas, CA passed away peacefully on Feb. 2, 2012. He is predeceased by beloved wife, Shige Nakawatase; survived by her beloved children, Hayato ( Tomoko) and Izumi ( Tsuyoshi) Ohara; grandchildren, Christy Nakawatase, Mark Nakawatase, Michele Ohara and Eileen Ohara; great granddaughter, Tina Ohara; brother, Kazuichi ( Etsuko ) Nakawatase, and Tsuya ( Tsugio) Maemura, Misu Hasushi and Teru Tamiya of all in Japan and also survived by many niece, nephews and other relatives here and in Japan.

Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 14, 7:30 p.m. at Hompa Hongwanji Buddhist Temple, 815 E. First Street, Los Angeles, CA 90012
