Haruo "Hank" Kanemoto of Monterey Park California passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on the morning of August 16 at the age of 98.  Hank was born March 1, 1926 in Lodi California. He was the youngest of three children born to the parents of Otokichi and Chika (Arita) Kanemoto.  His oldest brother Fumio passed away in 2011 and his older sister Chiye passed away two years later. He is survived by his wife Aiko of 73 years, son Randy and daughter in law Sharen (Yoshimizu) and son Bruce.  He is also survived by two wonderful granddaughters Michelle and Nicole.

Private funeral services were held on September 30, 2024 at Fukui Mortuary "Chapel in the Garden".
